Recording movies within theatres is a Federal crime. The use of recording devices is not permitted in theatres. Camcording a film in a movie theatre violates federal copyright law and numerous state laws.

HELP FIGHT PIRACY

If you witness a person operating a video camera or other recording device, notify the theatre manager IMMEDIATELY.
DO NOT approach the person with the recording device. Never put yourself at risk or use physical force to stop the activity or detain the suspect.
